Dewalt Table Saw
I love my Dewalt Table Saw! It's small and relatively lightweight for when I move it around the shop or to a site. Most important, it has provided consistent and repeatable cuts. There are plenty of high end saws out there, but for my projects it has been great!
Black and Decker 20V Drill
I've been using many Black and Decker products. There may be more durable tools out there, but they have worked fine for me. They are reasonable cost, especially for a new person starting out or doing light duty, or infrequent projects. Plus they are generally easy to find and can share the batteries with lots of other tools include lawn and garden equipment (weed whipper or blower).
Black and Decker Impact Driver
The Black and Decker Impact Driver has been a nice addition to focus on driving screws and not having to switch out drill bits. It works quickly but is a little loud and sometimes difficult to control the torque if you need some finesse. But it can make a project go a lot faster and also uses the 20V battery.
Dewalt Impact Wrench
Very powerful impact wrench I use on my cars and motorcycles.
Porter Cable Brad Nail Gun
Another tool that can really speed up projects. I was nailing the old fashioned way until recently. This brad nail gun is great for attaching trim or holding glue ups together while it dries. Use it with an air compressor and get your projects done faster.
Kreg Multi-Mark Tool
The Kreg Multi-Mark Tool has been great to making quick measurements and marks. I find it especially handy when setting heights on the router and table saw. Of course it does all the basics for a short rule and level also!
Wixey Angle Gauge
Boom! Set and confirm the angles on your table and miter saw with the ultimate precison. Easy to use and attach with a magnetic base.
Skil Circular Saw
The Skil circular saw is a go to tool for quick cuts that don't need to be precise. I used it a lot with a straight-edge jig before I got my table saw. I built a full size arcade cabinet with it for basically every cut!! Now it is mainly for cutting down large size boards or rough cuts and it gets the job done every time.
Kreg Pocket Hole Jig
Love them or hate them, pocket holes are a common practice for attaching components for woodworking projects if the joint can be concealed or if aesthetics aren't a top priority. They are a common method for me too, at least until I learn more of the traditional methods.

Kreg Pocket Hole Face Clamp
If you are using a Kreg pocket hole jig, do yourself a favor and use their face clamp. Just makes things easier, and isn't that what we all want?
Bessey Bar Clamp
I like using quick clamps for as much as possible. Um, because they are quick... But if I need more force on the joint for glue ups these clamps are the ticket.
Ridgid Shop Vacuum WD4070
I've been really impressed by how powerful this small vacuum is and all the accessories are able to be stored on it.
Canon EOS Rebel
Good all-around camera for photography and video.
Samson Go Mic
Small, portable, and inexpensive microphone.
Wagner Control Spray Max HVLP Sprayer
Reasonably priced and makes quick work of painting and finishing jobs.
Stanley FatMax 25 Foot Tape Measure
Simple and tough.
Dewalt Cordless Orbital Sander
20V battery with good power and adjustable speed.
Saw Horses
Simple, lightweight plastic.
Levels
Multi-pack of various lengths.
Quick clamps
Fast and easy to use.
Speed square
Mark cut lines and variety of other uses.
Oscillating tool
Multi-purpose tool for cutting and sanding.
Moisture meter
Measure moisture in wood.
